My fellow Toastmasters –
On the fly – changed our room when we found that Flu Shots were being given in our meeting space. No worries though, as we adapted and did the meeting in a conference room and treated the meeting like a business setting. Unique as well as realistic. Zach opened the meeting and turned it over to Dave. In a sense, the theme was adaptability and no one used “histrionics”, the word of the day, with the changes. Mike spoke about, “Are you rational?” before we moved to a group Table Topics where everyone created 3 topics, and names of the recipients were drawn at random. Angela was the General Evaluator, Zach evaluated the speech, and Phil S closed with the Timer’s report.
As a reminder, dues are due – $42 to Steve asap.
