A great meeting with an intimate group this morning – Brian served as Toastmaster for his first time and did an excellent job. “Grit” was the word of the day: Brian talked about his son in using examples of the word. Alvin spoke about, “A Dog’s Handshake” in a great speech about the canine’s olfactory system. Dave spoke about health care in, “Brother, Can You Spare Me a Dime.” Karen challenged our creativity in Table Topics. Steve and Lyn did evaluations with Dave doing the timing.
