Angela led the meeting as Toastmaster and surprised us all when she said was “engaged.” As usual, the level of engagement from our club was strong throughout the meeting. Savannah gave a superb speech imploring us to de-clutter our lives by asking the simple question: Do your things spark joy? If not, you should let them go. Brian spoke on rezoning, describing what can be a controversial, complicated and very long process. Norris led us through a “sweethearts”-inspired round of Table Topics. Bettina excelled in her first time as General Evaluator, getting great contributions from Speaker Evaluators Dave and David and Timer/Grammarian Mike.
