Great meeting this morning! Dave was our Toastmaster, whetting our appetites for the weekend – and for summer travel – with tales of the fun things you can do through Airbnb. Bettina was our Speaker and reminded us of why we joined Toastmasters with her speech titled “The Power of Speaking.” Karen led us in Table Topics that invited us to imagine various scenarios related to Dave’s chosen Word of the Day: “excursion.” Steve served as General Evaluator, Norris was our Speaker Evaluator, and Alvin was Timer/Grammarian.
