Hello, everyone. A quick recap of today’s meeting:
Dave was Toastmaster, leading the meeting and offering up the word of the day “callous.” Norris gave a speech on a topic near and dear to his heart: AFL, which stands for Alternative Family Living. Savannah stepped up and gave an inspirational pocket speech entitled “Make Them Tell You No,” imploring the group to have confidence in themselves and approach life “ready to win.”
Steve led Table Topics with some Thanksgiving-inspired questions and others more random in nature. Savannah double-dipped and served as General Evaluator, with her team including Speaker Evaluators Karen and Bettina (who did a wonderful job with her first evaluation), and Anu serving as Timer/Grammarian.
