We had a spirited meeting this morning with Jenna opening the meeting before turning it over to Dave, the Toastmaster. His word of the day was, “consumerism”, which was the theme and played well as he did Table Topics, challenging members to discuss brands that they were familiar with. Jenna delivered bad news, in her speech, “Delivering Bad News”. Dave then vamped a little, describing the Toastmasters organizational structure, as well as common acronyms. Phil S was General Evaluator, and Karen did her first evaluation, a very effective one at that!. Alvin was the timer.
