My fellow Toastmasters –
A good but bittersweet meeting as we say so long to our President, Jenna. Happy journeys and success in your new role in Asheville. She officially passed the gavel to Phil S.
Jenna was our Toastmaster using “diversity” as the word of the day. Sadric did an exceptional job in her Icebreaker. Steve led Table Topics related to tournament time. Jennifer was General Evaluator for the first time with her team of Dave and Lyn. Area Governor, Dana Baldwin, was also in attendance and said a few words of encouragement at the end of the meeting.
Please note that there are two openings for next week’s meetings. Please reach out to Phil S, the Toastmaster, or me if you can fill any of the roles. In addition, I will be filling in Jenna’s roles on the schedule as well – Heather and Savannah – keep your eyes open. I will send the revised schedule to the group
