04.11.14 Rewind. . .Spring has finally sprung and this time of renewal provided us with eleven members and one guest at our meeting today. As expected, Toastmaster Tim Murphy led this meeting with energy and professionalism. Angela Ligon told a childhood story entitled, The Red Barn Fiasco, that utilized supporting movement and as Alvin noted, provided a “Paint Can Parable”. Lanre Adefolauju asked us to think “What would the world be like without electricity?” His So, What Do You Do? presentation clearly provided insight into world of electrical engineering. Our Table Topics, led by Steve Stephens, invited us to be definitive in our responses and answer “..and why.” Thank you to Alvin Powell, Dave Burr and Dramaine Freeman for serving as evaluators. A special thank you and welcome to Summer who served in her first role as the Timer and Grammarian. We missed those who were unable to join us today: Esther, Mike, Robert and Tom. Hope to see you all and guests at our next meeting on 4/25! We also hope to see Lanre’s wife, Rachel, return again.
04.18.14 PAUSE. . .As a reminder, in observance of Good Friday, we will not meet on April 18th.
