05.16.14 Rewind . . . Toastmaster and DJ, Dave Burr commanded an eclectic and fun meeting with nine members in attendance. Angela Ligon presented her sixth speech, which employed vocal variety, entitled “A Mother’s Job . . . Isn’t it Ironic”. Dramaine Freeman introduced us to the Interpretive Reading manual, in his first project from this series, “Ring of King”. Lanre Adefolaju led a very successful Table Topics relating to commencements. Evaluators, Alvin Powell and Summer Murphy, along with Phil Stringer as Timer/ Grammarian, provided valuable feedback. DJ Dave closed the meeting with the notion that, “Love Will Keep Us Together”. Great job to all!
05.23.14 Fast-forward . . . As we look forward to Friday, there is an opportunity for someone to present a pocket speech. If you are interested, please advise our Toastmaster Robert Hickling.
