Happy Friday!
First, a quick recap of today’s meeting: Savannah was Toastmaster, leading the meeting and offering up the word of the day, “marriage,” which was used three times. Allison blew the crowd away with her icebreaker speech, “Where I’m From.” David G. took us on a tour of the Rhine with a speech recanting his summer vacation and river cruise. Phil asked us to look for the positive in all things, as he led us through table topics. And Mike pinch-hit as general evaluator, with Steve, Norris and Brian handling the speaker evaluator and timer/grammarian roles.
As for other business: Dues are due. So please connect with Dave to pay the $51 for organization and club dues, or you can go to the Toastmasters International website to pay the $45 organization dues and pay the $6 club dues separately.
Lastly, the roles for the next two weeks are listed below. If you have a role and can’t attend, please let Dave know.
