My fellow Toastmasters –
Jenna opened the meeting before turning it over to our Toastmaster. He introduced/greeted Alvin Powell, a former member who it was great to see. Jenna spoke from an advanced manual and did, Evaluation”, and Phil S did a pocket speech, “Anger Makes You Stupid.” Mike led Table Topics, having us take common acronyms and re-purposing them into other things. Angela was the General Evaluator and led her team of Dave, Jenna, and Zach as Timer.
Reminder – Area Speech Competition is being held at the Post Office on Pleasant Ridge Road from 9am-12pm, tomorrow, 10/15.
