It is summer and members are traveling, yet our meetings continue to be effective and fun!
Dave opened the meeting and turned it over to Tim, the Toastmaster for the day, whose theme was “National Give Away Something Day”, with “aspiration” being the word of the day. Angela was the only speaker, but took advantage of the time speaking from an Advanced Manual, “Facilitating Discussions”. The title of her speech was, “Building Our Successes and Getting Them Here”. She took every bit of 25 minutes. Joe led Table Topics, picking cards from the box. Dave was the General Evaluator and Summer did two roles, ably evaluating Angela, and doing the Timer/Grammarian.
