6.27.14 Rewind . . .Thank you to Esther Khoury who served as our Toastmaster last week and provided a befitting leadership theme for our gathering.  Her subject framed our Installation of Officers impeccably.  Also, a special thank you to Toastmaster Area 53 Governor, Al Green, for attending our meeting and performing the ceremony!  It could be said that our meeting had a second, unofficial theme of “ceremonies”.  In addition to our officer induction, Joe Stack completed his Competent Communication manual with his 10^th project entitled, “Our Day”. His presentation allowed us to share in his and Tuisha’s wedding events; I believe we all can agree it was a beautiful story and a beautiful wedding. Congratulations Joe for completing the manual and especially for your nuptials!  As Table Topics Master, Ying Na, prompted us with questions relating to Independence Day!  Well done, Ying!  Evaluations can be difficult and are important.  Therefore, thank you to all of you who served in evaluation roles last week:  David Burr, Robert Hickling, Dramaine Freeman.  Including our visiting Governor, we had a total of 12 in attendance.

7.04.14 Pause. . .As a reminder, we will not meet this Friday, July 4^th in observance of Independence Day.  Hope you all have a safe and enjoyable weekend.

7.11.14 Fast-Forward . . .For your convenience, I’ve listed the current roles for our next meeting.  A few revisions to the roles may be necessary.  Stay tuned and our new VP of Education, Summer Murphy will be providing an update as needed.   In addition, she will be working with everyone to develop a new schedule that will help keep everyone on track with their Toastmaster goals.
