If you would like to visit our club, please contact us. Once you submit the contact form, our VP of  Membership will reach out to set up a phone or video call to answer any questions you have and give you a little information about Sunrise Toastmasters. If it sounds like a good fit for you, the VP of Membership will send you a Zoom link for our next meeting. We will be excited to have you join us!

Our meetings start at 7am on Friday mornings, and feel free to come up to 15 minutes early to socialize before the meeting starts, and we often hang out for 15 minutes to chat after the meeting ends promptly at 8am. You will not be required to speak at the meeting other than to introduce yourself. We remember how nerve-racking it can be to be at a meeting with new people. We’ll make you feel at home.

We invite prospective members to join a few meetings for free as guests to see what the club is like. Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and careers, from people trying public speaking for the first time, to those who are experienced and speak competitively. The common bond, though, is that we want to see everyone improve and become comfortable speaking in front of a boardroom, a classroom, and among both friends and strangers. Since we meet online, we have been fortunate to have guests visit from all across the US as well as other countries around the world! Our current membership includes Toastmasters from Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Qatar. Where ever you are from, we will make you feel right at home 🙂

Sunrise Toastmasters has been holding meeting at 7am on Friday mornings since it was founded in 1980. Prior to holding virtual meetings via Zoom in March of 2020, our meetings had been held at Cone Health’s Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Our club is open to all people, and everyone is welcome.
