My fellow Toastmasters –
Jenna opened the meeting and turned it over to herself as Toastmaster. The word of day was “beckon”. I beckon you to come to next week’s meeting. Dave spoke on “Art that Speaks” and Mike did “Toast to the Bride”. Zach led Table Topics with notable quotes from famous movies. Phil S and Alvin did evaluations, and Karen held the Timer/Grammarian role for the first time – well done! Martin has officially joined the club – welcome Martin! We also had one guest as well.
Next week’s meeting is a breakfast meet/greet followed with Table Topics (possibly holiday related). Friends/significant others are welcome at a very relaxed meeting, out last until 2017.
